Extended on about 15.000 terraced squared metres, in a peaceful and panoramic area, the camping site takes its name from the legend suggesting it was one of the longobard queen Theodolinda resort. Peripheral to a typical village of the XVIII century, surrounded by secular chestnut woods, 500 meters above sea level and well wooded, it is an ideal starting point for tourist excursions. Distributed on 60 campsites, it offers wide green parks to relax, while the predominantly residential address avoids the seasonal crowd. The sites can host either tents, trailers or campers. Available all year for those who love the lake (3 km) and for those who prefer the mountains (Mottarone 15 km), it is a meeting point for young people thanks to their dedicated areas: soccer field, volleyball, playground , equipped meeting room, internet point, library and numerous outsource attractions. The family management also ensures reliability and courtesy.

Lovely site

Review of the campsite

Very pretty site, lovely helpful staff, great views. Near train station so we took a trip to Milan. Lake Orta is gorgeous.

Toilets definitely need updating. Only one ‘normal’ toilet and 3 squatting, often a small queue for ‘normal’ toilet. Showers were clean, disappointing to have to pay 50cents for them though. Swimming pool ok, hats obligatory.

Review of the campsite

We love this camp-site because you immediately feel at home once you are there. There are a lot of greens around you. Very nice surroundings for hikers and bikers. Paolo and his staff are very welcoming, always helpful, nice and relaxed. Thank you for this great vacation!
