A great base for exploring Les Hautes Pyrenees.

Review of the campsite

Location was easily accessible with a caravan. Great geographical base for serious road cycling (ticking off Tour de France rides) and driving to visit attractions (Lourdes, Grottes de Bétharram, Le Pic du Midi de Bigorre). Flat pitches, choice of swimming pools, good facilities.

Quite a long way to go to empty toilet canister.

Review of the campsite

Swimming pool and the lagoon

Very noisy, until midnight ... small pitches, not straight,

Establishment response

Hello Ms Joos, Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed our swimming areas. Regarding your pitch, you had chosen an S-sized pitch, which is 90 square metres. On your next visit, please feel free to opt for an L or even an XL pitch if you would like more space, and do let us know if you’d prefer a quieter spot. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back next year! Kind regards, The Monlôo team

Very pleasant stay

Review of the campsite

Good pitches, nice shadow, good atmosphere, clean toilets / showers, very nice lagoon. Swimming pool also nice for the kids

sometimes warm water was not availlable at certain times; choices in bread were bit limited, and baguette was quite hard

Heerlijke vakantie

Review of the campsite

Review of the campsite

Great pitch at a really nice campsite

Review of the campsite

Pitch 24c across the lagune is really big and comfortable. Surroundings are wonderfull, Tourmalet, Aspin, Lourdes and Pont d’Espagne all worth a visit Didn’t use the pool since our spot was across the lagoon so we swam there a lot.

The shower for the disabled has a chair but you can’t hang the shower head so really quite impossible toekwam wash your hair. Also the temperature of this shower cannot be adjusted so the result is really hot water only? The other shower all have mixing taps but the disabled shower doesn’t

Great stay

Review of the campsite

We stayed here for a night during the Tour de France. It was a great spot, friendly neighbours, nice bathrooms. Great pools.

We struggled a bit to get into the property as it was late in the evening. But luckily there was a maintenance man that helped us to get in and to our stand.

Establishment response

Nice camping at the foot of the Pyrenees

Review of the campsite

We had a very nice stay at Camping Le Monloo. The reception was very welcoming and gave us a good feeling right from the start. Our children liked playing on the beach near the lagoon, and we were very happy we could keep an eye on them from the terrace of our chalet. The cafetaria's menu is rather limited, but the quality is fine. There are also multiple other restaurants in the neighbourhood for those who don't like cooking by themselves.

Establishment response

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you had a pleasant stay at our campsite. We have taken note of your comment regarding the capacity of the boiler. As our chalets are small (compared to a house), there is unfortunately not enough space to install a larger boiler. See you soon! The Monlôo team.

Accommodation review - Privilege Chalet for 4 People: 2 bedrooms, Air Conditioning, Lagoon & Mountain View

Nice chalet with all ammenities included. The accommodation is quite compact, but has everything you might need, including airconditioning. It has a nice terrace with views of the lagoon pool as well.

Hot water capacity (from the boiler) was quite limited to get showered with four people.

Fijn verblijf op mooie camping!

Review of the campsite

Camping at a nice spot for cyclists

Review of the campsite

Nice spot to start cycle tours to, among others, the Tourmalet and Aspin. We loved the possibility to play tennis and padel. We needed an extra adapter for the electricity, which we were able to borrow. Very helpful.

For a 4-star camping the sanitary facilities are quite basic. On Sunday and Monday take your own toiletpaper. The people at the reception are friendly, the English spoken was limited.

Accommodation review - Camping pitch L

Very nice green grass and between the pitches nice flowers. At the pitch a tree for some shadow in very good proportions.

Middelmatige 4 sterren camping

Review of the campsite

Accommodation review - Camping pitch L

Ruime mooie plaats
