Review of the campsite
We love the campsite, location, view and facilities. We mostly found staff to be amazing and friendly.
We did not like the abundance of messages received with regard to our stay. Nor did we like having to checkout the day before leaving, difficult for a one night stay anyway, and then having to return the site card that had already been cancelled on departure. This is unnecessary. We also had a query over the invoice given that did not tally with our confirmation email, and when we queried it, were told by the receptionist to get a calculator. Another member of staff kindly explained the amount which I offered to pay immediately but was then given a new invoice for a reduced amount.

Review of the campsite
Generally the site is very nice, with a nice restaurant and bar and a launderette. There is also a shop selling bread,cakes and produce. It's about a 20 minute walk into the lovely town with bars and restaurants along side the lake. There are also boat trips that are reasonably priced. The only negatives are that is is quite near a busy road and a railway line runs along side the site. Having said that neither of these things would stop us staying there again.
