Holidays with closed swimming pool
Review of the campsite
We liked
- the peace and quiet – presumably due to being there off-season.
- the playground.
- the nature and the landscape
We chose the campsite because of the swimming pool and booked online, only to be very disappointed upon arrival when we were told that the pool was already closed for the season. We hadn't found any notice about this anywhere and had assumed the indoor pool would be open. We were there with two small children and had really been looking forward to swimming; it was a huge disappointment.
Please publicly announce when the swimming pool is closed.
The baby-bath wasn't really clean what should be improved.
Some things were a bit lacked care—for ex. a permaculture bed without plants..

Very Nice place, very Nice view, toilets nearby which is important when you need to wake up every night. Dark at night but light switches on when you go to the toilet. Was iDeal. Loved the music and the sound of birds in the sanitary block.

Peace, lovely view, country location, good bathroom facilities.
As it’s out of town having the bar/restaurant open in September and also in June at Veules les Roses this year would have been appreciated.

Review of the campsite
We had a lovely stay and booking process was very clear, with good communication throughout.
I loved the swimming pool! It was so refreshing after a busy day travelling or exploring, plus there's a great view out of the windows.
Thank you for ordering fresh bread for the morning! We enjoyed our breakfast.
We also liked cycling from the campsite to Oberbronn, Niederbronn les Bains, and many other villages.
Accommodation review -
I loved the spacious and clearly marked pitch. The toilet and shower block was ideal and kept very clean. Although we weren't travelling with children, I thought the facilities for children were excellent, including a child's toilet and a special shower cubicle, plus play areas.
Everything was great!

Lovely, well-appointed campsite with a fabulous view!
Review of the campsite
We loved the location - walks, pretty villages to explore, great view and lovely forest walks. The sanitary block was immaculate!
The WiFi was very weak and often unusable
Accommodation review -
Our pitch was right in the edge of the campsite, so it was peaceful and right in nature. We had plenty of space for the awning at the back of our Land Rover, and there was a decent amount of shade.
Being told 4 days into our 6 day stay that we were in the wrong pitch for our type of accommodation. We gave accurate width/length measurements and the reception team gave us a pitch based on this. To be chastised about not being in a motor home on a motor home pitch when we were obviously wider and longer than a camper van made us feel unwelcome and made a sour end to our stay.

Location was awesome, the pool is a lot bigger and nicer than on the pictures. The cordon blues are delightful.
The outside area at the pool could be bigger, maybe even on the grass with an outdoor access.
Lovely shaded pitch with electricity. Lots of lovely birch trees

Review of the campsite
Ruime plekken met kleine haagjes. Parkachtig.

Review of the campsite
We stayed for one night to find out if it's a good site. I think I'll come back again. It was peacefull with good facilities and food reception.
Some facilities were out of order, like vending machine for washing machine detergent and also in the main compound the mens bathroom.
Accommodation review - Emplacement Camping
Good space. Hard surface for the camping car with a bit of grass on the side. Excellent view at the back. So we parked our camping car sideways. Nearby connectionpoint for electricity.
