A lovely site with good facilities in a nice location.
Review of the campsite
The site had great facilities for us and our touring caravan.
The reception was very helpful and responsive.
We used the indoor swimming pool and it was good but the outdoor had already closed for the end of season.
Sanitary facilities are excellent.
The city of Troyes is a lovely place to visit though there was really no easy way to get there except to drive by car. We found a beautiful restaurant La Belvdere by the lake where we had dinner on one evening.

Good location, well maintained site and the hardstanding pitches are great. Very friendly welcome and all staff were friendly, helpful and polite.
Great bar area. There is also a restaurant and indoor/outdoor pool (we didn't use).
Good cycle paths around the lake.

The pitch was fully serviced and clean and tidy.
The staff helped us to choose a pitch where we could get a satellite signal to watch some TV and the sanitary facilities were a short walk away.

Looks ideal for families
Review of the campsite
Just an overnight stay on our way home. This place does look top notch, especially for families as there seems to be lots to do on site and off site. The restaurant looked good. The sanitary block was of very high quality and they are obviously continually making improvements.
I would have expected the early morning cleaner of the sanitary block to report the fact that there was no hot water rather than relying on guests to report it. This is because we had an early start and even if I had reported it then there is no way it would have been fixed before we left. Unfortunate but still annoying.
Having a single chemical toilet emptying unit at the sanitary unit will probably be quite frustrating in high season.

Aufenthalt mit Wohnmobil und Motorrad
Review of the campsite
Der Aufenthalt auf dem Campingplatz war sehr angenehm. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, einzig die Anzahl der Toiletten im Waschhaus ist morgens zu gering und führt teileweise zu Wartezeiten (!!!).
Für Motorradfahrer ist die Umgebung ungeeignet und bietet wenig Kurven und wenig aufregende Ausblicke. Der Stausee wird im September stark geleert, Baden/Freizeitaktivitäten sind dann nicht mehr möglich. Die Stauseen sind umfassend von einem Deich umgeben und bieten bei einer Umfahrung keine Sicht auf das Wasser.

Nice Campsite but Check Lake has water!
Review of the campsite
Clean, fully serviced campsite with pool, restaurant, showers, WCs etc.
Unfortunately, the water level in the lake was so low that swimming wasn’t possible. Worth checking before booking in future!

The indoor pool was great. The shop was well stocked. Pitch was large and bordered by a hedge and electric/
water on pitch. Sanitary blocks was clean. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Schöner CP in attraktiver Lage

Die schönen, angenehm bepflanzten Stellplätze
Saubere, gut durchdachte Sanitäreinrichtungen.
Leider hat es bei unserem Aufenthalt mehrfach stark geregnet. Daduch war der Boden unseres Stellplatzes sehrnass und klitschig. Da er leicht ansteigend ist war es schwierig den Wohnwagen vom Platz zu bekommen. Bei solchen Wetterverhältnissen sollte ein WoWa nicht auf diesen Platz gestellt werden.
Sehr schön ist die Nähe zum See, der Sandstrände hat und reichlich kleine Bars, was eine nette Athmosphäre ergibt.
